At the February 16 regular City Council meeting, the City Council voted down a proposal for an additional underground parking level within the mixed-use development planned on the city’s nine-acre property. City Council will be appointing a committee to discuss short- and long-term parking solutions for the historic downtown area. Members of the committee will include stakeholders, city staff and possibly Council members. The committee members will be determined in the coming weeks and will be communicated once selected.
