Operations

The Operations Division is supervised by Assistant Fire Chief Frank Roma

The McKinney Fire Department is staffed with 144 certified Firefighter/EMT/Paramedics.

Specialized training and certification has allowed the creation of a Hazardous Materials Technician Team, Swift Water Technician Team, High-Angle Rescue Team, advanced extrication and S.W.A.T. Paramedics.

Firefighters at Station 4, located at the Collin County Regional Airport, are certified in Aircraft Fire Fighting and Rescue and are trained to respond to and handle aircraft emergencies.
