Career Development
Monthly continuing education training is scheduled and conducted for all operations personnel in order to deliver the quality of training, career development and occupational safety programs to meet State and Federal standards. The Career Development Division delivers programs that effectively prepare our personnel to deliver high quality emergency and non-emergency services to the community in the increasingly complex environment of McKinney.
The McKinney Fire Department employees require various types of continuing education training for professional development, maintenance of skills and mandated occupational safety training.
Safety is always a priority as well as maintaining optimum performance through ongoing skills development enhancement.
