Fire Administration is located in the McKinney Public Safety Building, 2200 Taylor-Burk Drive.  The office is open from 0800-1700, Monday through Friday.

The Administration Division provides administrative support for senior staff as well as support functions for the Department. This includes fiscal (budget) management, payroll, purchasing, reporting, uniforms, station supplies, personnel files and Capital Improvement Programs. 

Fire Administration is the liaison with other City Departments, including Human Resources, Purchasing, Finance, Fleet Services and City Administration.

Administrative staff includes Administrative Assistant Cindy Pickrell and Staff Specialist Angie Cox. 

 The FY0910 Fire Department Budget is $17,796,295.  The major budget items include vehicle replacements, patient care supplies and protective clothing.  FY1011 information will be released after approval from City Council.

 

The 0809 Master Plan for the McKinney Fire Department documents the planning efforts for the fiscal year beginning 10/1/2008 through 9/30/2009.  This Plan is intended to provide a compilation of the planning continuum from our strategic plan which provides guidance and direction to address the strategic issues we face now and in the forseeable future to our Operational Plans.
