Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library | John and Judy Gay Library |

The McKinney Public Library system has opened the John and Judy Gay Library, 6861 W. Eldorado Parkway. The City of McKinney is thrilled to be opening a new facility during difficult economic times, however, McKinney’s second library will initially open with storefront service. Patrons will have the opportunity to check out books, DVDs, CDs and all of the materials they are used to in a library. Additionally, there will be a self-service automated computer lab. However, regular programs, book clubs, meeting room rentals, and more cannot be offered at this time due to the limited number of staff. Plans are in place to incorporate these elements into the library as soon as funds are available. The Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library near historic downtown McKinney will continue to offer its full lineup of programs and activities.

The Friends is a non-profit volunteer organization interested in the growth and development of the public library in the community. Funds raised by the Friends are used to purchase materials and expand programs and services for the library system. Ask Library staff for more information about membership dues and benefits.
