Are you ready to get your Gemütlichkeit on with McKinney Main Street? If so… mark your calendars and consider VOLUNTEERING your time and talents during the 2010 McKinney Oktoberfest. This year Oktoberfest will be better than ever as it has now grown into a 2-day fun-filled event in the heart and sole of our great city. Last year we welcomed almost 20,000 guests to take part in enjoying a fun, family-friendly event offering German music, food and drink, traditional costumes, dancing, children’s activities and much more.
McKinney Main Street has several volunteer needs and we hope you will consider helping out as we kick off YEAR THREE of this successful “crowd pleasing” tradition for our community and beyond. Volunteers Duties Included:
- Set Up on, September 24, 2010 early morning (midnight - 2 p.m.)
- Tear Down on September 25, 2010 after 11 p.m. (11 p.m. - 4 a.m.)
- Event Entrance Greeter at Consumption Area Gate
- Children's Arts & Craft Area Assistant
- Table Cleaners
- Volunteer Assistant - assist other Volunteers
- Stage Assistant - assist with bands and entertainment
- Event Trash Collection
