The City of McKinney kicks off its Spread the Love peanut butter drive on Monday, Dec. 2. To celebrate the season of giving, the city is encouraging employees and residents to donate peanut butter to the Community Food Pantry Bank in McKinney. Peanut butter jars smaller than 40 oz. can be dropped off at several locations from Monday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 13.

McKinney Fire Station #5, 6600 Virginia Pkwy., Open daily 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
The Community Food Pantry in McKinney was formed 36 years ago. In October, it provided 17,630 meals to 692 families, including meals for 930 children. More than 600 jars of peanut butter where distributed in October.
